Objectives
  • To test TCs and ECs based on the most promising systems
  • To test first prototype of a gas diffusion CME-EC in realistic operative conditions
Tasks
Task 5.1. TCs testing
  • Bimetallic clusters deposited on flat oxides tested for CO2 hydrogenation with methanol and CO probe molecules using a Temperature Programmed Desorption (KUL)
  • CO2 hydrogenation catalytic activity of clusters-based catalysts deposited on powders (TCL)
  • Bimetallic clusters (Ni,Co,Cu,Ga)-based clusters tested for CO2 hydrogenation using micro reactors coupled with CBD (DTU)
Task 5.2. ECs testing
  • Investigation of CO2 electro-reduction properties of bimetallic clusters on electrodes (KUL-DTU)
Task 5.3. Prototyping of a Model Gas Diffusion Electrode
  • Prototyping of Model gas diffusion electrode based on the highest performance CME-EC system (VITO-TCL)
