ETH Zürich is the largest and the most renowned academic institute in Switzerland.
Laboratory of Surface and Interfacial Chemistry
The laboratory of Surface and Interfacial Chemistry at ETH is world renowned for its work of the controlled surface functionalization of surfaces in the context of heterogeneous catalysis and functional materials, developing methods to generate metal single sites and to control the surface between metallic nanoparticles and oxide support. This laboratory also developed advanced tools for surface characterization, in particular solid-state NMR spectroscopy in combination with other state of the art spectroscopy technique augmented by computational tools.
