Electronic Structure-Material Design-Innovation

S&T training (2.5 days) [BME]

School on basic and more advanced concepts in modern electronic structure theory, including DFT for computational design of new functional materials, models in inorganic chemistry, molecular dynamics simulations and surfaces, and advanced chemical simulations.

Skills training (2.5 days)

  • Providing ESRs with a skill set for innovation and entrepreneurship and protecting strategies for intellectual property;
  • training in approaches to search for innovative solutions to problems faced within the network, as well within scientific research as in product development and outreach;
  • training in Prototyping including Life cycle analysis (LCA) and techno-economic analysis (TEA)
  • Local companies will contribute with presentations and demonstration projects.
